The Hunter Humidifier Replacement filter was easy to install and has worked as well as the original. I purchased two filters so I’m ready when this one goes bad. I won’t have to delay the replacement like I did the first time. 31943 Hunter Humidifier Replacement Filter

This filter was exactly what I needed to replace the one I’d been using for 3+ years.

After several years of service, the filter element in my Hunter humidifier became rather nasty, plus I’m sure it wasn’t as effective as when it was new, due to the accumulation of crud from hard water. The new one fit perfectly, and seems to do exactly what it’s supposed to do. When this one reaches its end-of-service, I’ll buy another, if they’re still available.
I run the humidifier all winter to keep my acoustic guitars at the proper humidity.

For a product that says the filter doesn’t need to be replaced?…hmmm. Worth having in case the original really does go bad.
